3 cups chilled, seeded, and cubed watermelon
3 cups chilled, seeded, and cubed cantaloupe
1 1/2 - 3 teaspoons sugar
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper (optional)
1. Divide chilled watermelon and cantaloupe among six dessert dishes. Stir sugar into vinegar until dissolved. Drizzle some of the vinegar mixture over each serving. Sprinkle with fresh ground pepper, if desired. Makes 6 servings.
